> BRIEFING // As an EDM project, BRAINDANCE needed a strong brand that matched their sound. Their music is a hybrid between organic and futuristic sounds, masterfully glued together to make heavy tunes; and that's exactly what their brand needed to look like. It was all about finding a style that'd match their music and its inspirations.
> APPROACH // Since the brand's needs were fairly clear from the beginning, it was decided that a good starting point would be researching styles. From sci-fi to death metal, knowing what works and why would be key in order to build a coherent brand form a strategic point of view that would then get translated into a solid and unique visual identity.
> SOLUTION // The final result is a versatile brand that finds itself playing with the contrast between elements constantly. Not only does it rely on the unique use of just two colours, it also combines different yet well-defined elements and styles. The best example of this is its logo, which gives death metal a cyberpunk twist that matches their music.
